MELVILLE, New York--Henry Schein, Inc., the largest distributor of health-care products and services to office-based practitioners in the combined North American and European markets, has announced that Team Schein member Michele Penrose recently received the Phenomenal Woman Corporate Award of Excellence from the National Dental Association.

Penrose, director of development and professional relations for Henry Schein Dental, received the award for her exemplary leadership and commitment to the ideals of the NDA.

The award was presented July 26 to Penrose by Dr. Hazel Harper, former president of the NDA, at the association's annual convention in Detroit, Mich. Penrose has served as a corporate advisor to the National Dental Association for the past three years.
