Practicon is now distributing Cavex Orthotrace orthodontic alginate.
The alginate is specifically formulated for orthodontic use. It features a fast set with a total procedure time including mixing of 2 minutes, 10 seconds. Orthotrace is elastic and offers a high tear strength for impressions with brackets.
Impressions can be removed from the mouth without tearing and be poured twice, if desired. Orthotrace offers 48-hour dimensional stability in an airtight enclosure. It is available in 1.1 lb. bags and has a legible pink color and a fruit scent.
